Silence

The trees stretched their arms toward the sky, reaching for sunlight which warmed their leaves. Their branches turn gently with the breath of God which passes over them.
Their roots are grounded deep into the earth, providing them the necessary strength to stand firm. The ground is padded with the blanket from the fall past, lining the pathway to solitude with their cushion.
The birds rest among the branches and the animals below nestle against the safety of tree's trunk. The silence of the forest is peaceful. And as a doe brings her young out of hiding long enough to feed, those same trees offer them shelter from anyone who might pass.
This is a place of solitude. A quiet and protected place where our arms can reach out to the Father. This is a tender and peaceful place where the Creator walks among His creations.
Take time to walk through the quiet of the forest in search of the God who knows us so well. If you seek Him, you will find Him.
